Whale Channel Spring Salmon

Hi Gordy,
Here's a picture of a 37 1/2 pound Spring Salmon caught May 25th at West Coast Resorts Whale Channel Lodge - it came in on a chartreaus Baitrix strip, not only this one, but 3 more over 20 pounds were taken on the same piece of strip.

Then we lost the one and only piece of strip we had to a big ling cod.

This strip is new to me this year though I have used your herring and anchoives with good success before, this stuff works super!

Keep your tip up!

There is nothing anecdotal about the information provided. This is a very serious situation.

Fish Farms, many of them foreign owned, are proven to be a major contributor to the decline in Wild Salmon stocks of all species throughout British Columbia and other regions. The politicians just don't seem to
grasp it ! They continue to support the expansion of Fish Farms. Why?

The wild Salmon are OUR fish. Elected officials are trusted to be the custodians of our wild resources, not major contributors to their demise. PLEASE..give your local representative a wake-up call and support this necesary initiative.

You may forward this message to whoever seems appropriate.

Thanks for your interest.

Fishing in Thasis

Gord,
When we were in Thasis the fishing was a little slow for the first three days but then the larger fish finally started coming in. We used the Baitrix products in conjunction with natural bait and found the results were equal. Good for you! I think your products are a GREAT substitute for natural bait and now with the bait shortage it should really take off! I'm looking forward to receiving samples of your new product (what is it?) and giving it a try.

Sincerely,

Kano Inlet

Gord,
I hope that your summer is going well.
Just to let you know that we did find some chinook and coho salmon that wanted to attack your Baitrix Anchovy. They worked quite well and impressed a number of skeptical guides during our visit to M.V. Salmon Seeker at Kano Inlet in the Queen Charlotte Islands. Definitely easy to use and very durable.

Many thanks for your generous sample of Baitrix products. I look forward to trying them out again.

Cheers,
Dave Wei

Point Defiance

Wanted to let you guys know that I have used your products and do something a little different with them. I cut plug them, put on some Herring Smelly Jelly, and drift mooch with them. I mostly fish Point Defiance in Tacoma and have caught 6 fish over 20# with your cut plugs.

Prince of Wales

Ran out of bait while fishing off Prince of Wales in July so had your anchovies for back up. Had as good of luck with them as the brimed bait. Also was able to catch quite a few fish on same bait without having to rebait. Best were the black and the glow after some coloring. Used scent, both herring and anchovies. Caught springs, coho, halibut, and rockfish with them trolled behind flasher and on a teaser head. Do have a few pictures.

Nootka Springs

Thanks for Baitrix. Got two springs in the 25lb range on one last week at Nootka. They stand up well too. My boat played over 60 springs, landed 25. Only three under 20lb, but only two over 30 this trip. Had to change to 40lb leader from 30lb - lost 9 to busted leader and not at the knots. Terrific on the nice days.

Westport Chinook

I was fishing Westport Washington last week and the biggest fish on the boat, a 35 # and 28# chinook were caught using your Regular Herring which had been marked down the side with a blue marker. The other two rods on the boat were fishing fresh herring and hooked some fish but nothing like the Kings the Baitrix produced. That is why I just placed the order for 9 additional packages for my other fishing partners. Keep up the good work.

Arkansas Bass Fishing

I was at a FLW Bass Tournament this weekend and several fisherman were using your bait as a swim bait, and catching some very nice bass on it. I would very much like to get some to try for myself. I believe I would like to try the Herring, how do I get some? Thank you very much!
